Top Savings Account Prizes in Jordan (June 2021)

With the new and recent regulations issued by the Central Bank in Jordan regarding the savings accounts prizes, there are no more grand prizes of 500,000 JDs or 1 million JDs in Jordan. The new regulations ensure that any grand prize amount does not exceed 100,000 JDs and that the total prize amount provided by any of the banks do not exceed 3million JDs in a year. Therefore, the number of banks providing cash prizes on savings accounts has decreased. The below four banks provide grand cash prizes of 100,000 JDs for their savings accounts:

Jordan Commercial Bank
Bank Al Etihad
Bank of Jordan
Housing Bank

Prizes provided by these 4 banks differ by the number of winners, the frequency of the draws and by the prize amount. We present to you the best daily and grand cash prizes provided by the Jordanian banks on savings accounts in Jordan:

Grand Prize

1- Jordan Commercial Bank

• 5 grand prizes of 100,000 JDs each
• 2 prizes end of June & 3 prizes end of December
  
• Min. Account balance to be eligible to enter the draw: 100 JDs
  

2- Housing Bank

• 4 grand prizes of 99,999 JDs each
• 2 prizes end of June & 2 prizes end of December

• 5 daily prizes of 500 JDs each
• 250 JDs for a bank client selected by each winner

• Min. Account balance to be eligible to enter the draw: 100 JDs

As you can see the Jordan Commercial Bank is providing the biggest grand prize of 500,000 JDs per year in total but they provide the smallest daily prize. Bank of Jordan on the other hand, provides the biggest daily prize of 9,999 JDs but the smallest grand prize.
